Subscriptions & AI Model Credits

The desktop software remains free with no crippled features. A subscription buys hosted AI model credits:

• Free: Get started with basic usage
• Pro ($20/mo): More monthly AI model credits for regular traders
• Max ($100/mo): A larger credit allowance for heavy use
• Ultra ($200/mo): The highest credit allowance

Credits fund CoTrading's hosted AI models. You can always bring your own AI API key instead and run outside the credit system.

Watchlist Cloud Sync

• Watchlist sync: Your watchlist syncs across devices through your cloud account, with last-writer-wins resolution and graceful offline degradation

Desktop Account Binding

• Bind the desktop app: Link the desktop application to your cloud account to activate your subscription and AI credits
• Periodic license re-check: License status is re-validated on launch and every 24 hours, with expiry propagating within a day

Fixes & Improvements

• License refresh now fails open on transient database errors so it never blocks the foreground app
• Various stability and reliability improvements across cloud sync

Live Trading Switch

Going from testnet to real funds is now a deliberate, gated step:

• Multi-step confirmation gate: Switching to live trading requires passing several explicit confirmations, not a single toggle
• Withdrawal-disabled check: Before enabling live trading, CoTrading verifies that the exchange API key does not have withdrawal permission, so the key can only trade — never move funds out
• Clear testnet / live indicator: The active environment is always visible so you never place an order on the wrong account

Weekly Review

• Weekly review: A recurring summary of your trades, wins and losses, and how your decisions tracked against your risk rules

Chart Analysis

• Fibonacci tools: Fibonacci retracement and extension drawing on the market page

Market Workbench

The first public release of CoTrading, a local-first AI desktop workbench for crypto and stock traders.

• Technical indicators: BOLL, MACD, and KDJ overlays to read momentum and trend
• AI conversation: Discuss the current chart with an AI assistant that helps you analyze the market and draft a trading plan

AI-Approved Orders

• Plan cards, not orders: The AI proposes a plan card; the AI never has the ability to place orders on its own
• One-tap approval: Every order is reviewed and approved by you before it is sent
• Safety boundary: The line between "AI proposes" and "you decide" is enforced in the app, not left to the model

Deterministic Risk Control

Risk rules run as local, pure functions and never pass through an LLM:

• Daily loss circuit breaker: Trading halts for the day once your loss limit is reached
• Cooldown after consecutive losses: A forced cooling-off period after a losing streak
• Position size caps: Hard limits on per-position exposure

Testnet First

• Testnet by default: New setups start on exchange testnets so you can validate a workflow before risking real funds
