Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CoTrading desktop application, the cotrading.io website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Use of the Service

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Local-First Software & Your Trading Keys

CoTrading is a local-first desktop application. We do not custody, hold, or touch your trading funds, and we do not execute trades on your behalf. You bring your own exchange API keys, and:

You should grant those keys trading permission only and disable withdrawals.
Your exchange and AI API keys are stored on your own device, are never uploaded to our servers, and are never written to logs.
Every order is proposed by the AI as a plan and must be reviewed and approved by you. The AI has no ability to place orders on its own.

Risk Disclaimer

Trading — especially in cryptocurrencies and in margin or derivatives (contract) products — carries a high level of risk and can result in the loss of your entire principal. You acknowledge and agree that:

All trading decisions and orders are reviewed, approved, and undertaken by you, at your sole risk and responsibility.
AI output is for reference only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and must not be relied upon as financial advice.

You are solely responsible for complying with any laws and regulations that apply to your trading activity in your jurisdiction.

Accounts, Subscriptions & Credits

The CoTrading desktop software is free to use with no crippled features. Optional paid subscriptions (Free, Pro, Max, and Ultra) provide hosted AI model credits. When you create a cloud account, you must provide accurate information and are responsible for safeguarding your account and all activity under it.

Billing & renewal. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; access continues until the end of the current period.
Payments. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor acting as merchant of record. You agree to that processor's applicable terms. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
Credits. AI model credits granted by a plan may be used only within the Service, are not transferable, have no cash value, and expire at the end of each period (they do not roll over) unless stated otherwise.
Changes. We may change subscription pricing and features; changes take effect from your next billing period.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
Attempt to bypass the order-approval or risk-control safeguards built into the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or networks
Use the Service to distribute malware or other harmful code

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your cloud account and access to hosted features immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Changes to Terms
